Let us enter into today’s biblical thought . Verse John 15: 2
Every branch in me that beareth not fruit, and whatsoever he hath put forth, he maketh clean, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Fruiting is the greatest call of Jesus Christ. If a tree is planted, it must bear fruit. This is the desire of an owner. If it does not bear fruit, the owner will cut it down. Of course. In this way, every human being whom God has put on earth wants to reach a state where it bears good fruit. Nothing is possible with money, status, or education … This is a great gift from God.
Says here. It removes all the unripe branches. The reason is that the fruitless branch simply pulls out all the nutrients from the tree. There is no point in cutting it down. When branches remove from a tree , there are lot of new branches come out . It my bring forth more fruit.
Thus the children of God must bear abundant fruit. God wants that, God will cut and cleanse our shortcomings. Then we begin to bear fruit. How can it bear fruit. In John 15: 4 the vine does not bear fruit unless it stays on the vine. Only if we abide in Christ like this, can we bear fruit.
Why should it bear fruit ? .To be good disciples – John 15: 8. The good disciple must be a bearer of fruit: a person is a bearer of fruit in Christ when spiritual fruits come forth. JOHN 15: 5 . I am the vine, you are the horn, and you can do nothing but separate me. Jn 15: 8 And if you bear fruit, my Father will be glorified, and you will be my disciples in bearing fruit.
The Word says so. The main characteristic of discipleship is to bear fruit. May he live in Christ and bear good fruit and become a person who gives comfort to others … May many come to this tree for relief and liberation. Let us submit for that.
