How God’s Children should run

Hebrews 12: 1, 2

Therefore, because we too are surrounded by such a large community of witnesses, let us run steadfastly in the race set before us, free from all burdens and sins. Look at Jesus, the Leader and Finisher of the faith. Run away from all the weight. Excess weight is an obstacle for a runner to run well. If a child of God is burdened with the pleasures and desires of the world, the Christian life will not be able to run well.

From this world Obstacles to God’s favor must be avoided. Let go of the desires of the world The clinging sins must be shed. A redemption from all sinful acts is required. Everything that is against the will of God is sin. They must be abandoned. Must run consistently.

The journey of faith is a journey of stability. One who runs one day and gets tired the next cannot run this race. The apostle Paul completed his race by enduring many hardships and persecutions. We must run with the same consistency.

Run to Jesus, the leader of the faith and the doer of all things. The runner has a purpose. Likewise the goal of the believer’s race is eternity. You need a hero to get there. To show the good way. To support in the fall, to follow the good path. Jesus Christ is the only hero. Let’s look for Jesus, the good leader who will help us to run to eternity .

There is a community of witnesses in Abraham’s chapter 11 who have completed the race in this way, from Abraham .Let’s run this race well.
